Beryllium Copper
About Beryllium Copper
Beryllium Copper, often called beryllium bronze, is a high-performance non-ferrous alloy primarily composed of copper and a small percentage of beryllium, sometimes with additions of cobalt or nickel. Beryllium Copper is highly valued for a unique combination of properties that make it superior to many other copper alloys
Supply Beryllium Copper Bar, Foil, Tube, Plate, Wire

Heat Treatment Condition:
Either Solution Annealing or Solution Annealing + Age Hardening
Unique Character & Properties
- Highest Strength/Hardness Highest strength and hardness of any copper alloy after a specific heat treatment process called precipitation hardening. This strength can be comparable to steel.
- High Conductivity Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity—a rare trait for such a high-strength material. This makes it ideal for transferring both power and heat efficiently.
- Fatigue & Wear Resistance Outstanding fatigue strength and elasticity, allowing parts to withstand repeated stress and retain their shape. It also resists wear and galling.
- Corrosion Resistance Excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, performing well in harsh environments like seawater
- Non-Sparking Naturally non-sparking, meaning it will not ignite flammable materials when struck.
- Non-Magnetic Essential for use in sensitive electronic devices and instrumentation where magnetic interference must be avoided
